Themes
In this Challenge Window, DLIIC is partnering with the World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s leading humanitarian agency fighting hunger and malnutrition around the world. This Challenge Window, called the “Zero Hunger, Zero AIDS” Challenge, will focus on ensuring that the next generation of Tanzanians is the healthiest generation through access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food and improved agricultural productivity; while also helping food-insecure populations increase their resilience to health risks, including HIV/AIDS. The final challenge themes are below. For more detailed themes and instructions please open and read the Applicant Resource Book.
- Nutritious, accessible, affordable and desirable diets: How can we make nutritious diets more accessible, affordable and desirable to Tanzanians, including women, children and those at risk of or living with HIV/AIDS?
- Support smallholder farmer resilience: How can we support farmers to increase their productivity and fight against threats, such as environmental shocks and health risks?
