“It is not only about being an entrepreneur, but also to be able to accomplish the goal of helping my fellow girls and women, because this is the problem we women face.”

“Information is the mother of everything. So if you lack of information, you perish. So we want to make sure that people in the targeted users of our platform get proper and quality information about menstrual hygiene management.”

“I am passionate about girls being in school because I am a female myself. The other side – professionally – I am an engineer. That means I got to go to school. I completed my primary, my secondary, my advanced school. I went to the university. I am now doing my PhD. I can see the effect that girls who have education can contribute to their homes, as opposed to those who do not go to school. If girls do not go to school, you have horrible effects. If we can use our knowledge to help in the budgetary stage and use [data] to tell us better how to do the budget proportionally, then that is what we have got to do.”

“My big vision is to see that the quality of health service delivery is improved, that everyone is happy with the services. I want you to trust the health facility to take care of you. I don’t want to see that gap between the community and the health facility authorities. I want them to have some common ground where they can discuss on how to improve the quality. My project is going to give them a voice.”
