About Me
As a native of Zanzibar, I want to use open data to help my fellow citizens (and tourists) to locate the nearest hospital and pharmacy in Zanzibar in real time when they need medical assistance so that they know where to go.

Solution
My solution is a mobile application system that links with local mobile network providers to provide access to public health information for both citizens and non-citizens.
Scale up
With support from the Zanzibar Ministry of Health, our team will add new features to HealthLoc to better serve both residents and tourists in Zanzibar. New modules will: allow users to make an appointment with a doctor,call an ambulance for the nearest hospital, and connect tourists in hotel to the nearest medical center.
