As a young, female entrepreneur, I want to install sanitary pad vending machines in schools to help adolescent girls have access to affordable pads. Then I want to collect data to prove that these vending machines can reduce school absenteeism due to menstruation. It is not only about being an entrepreneur, but also accomplishing the goal of helping my fellow girls and women, because this is the problem we women face.

Solution
My solution is installation of sanitary pads vending machines in places such as Secondary Schools, High Schools and Universities to supply low-income earners with convenient access to good quality, affordable sanitary pads. Information from the use of these vending machines will then be used to compare school attendance rates and make recommendations on ways to reduce school absenteeism.
Scale up
Be A Lady is redesigning our sanitary pad vending machines to increase product volume and also improve the customer experience. We are also planning to place our vending machines in more schools to support the government’s goal to help more girls participate fully in education.
