Lorraine Kiswaga

Lorraine Kiswaga has over seven years of experience in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, gender, gender-based violence (GBV), and women’s economic empowerment. Currently, Ms. Kiswaga is a Lead Researcher in a Tanzanian consultancy firm called Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Infocus (GEWEI), where she initiates, designs and implements the research component of the organization’s activities in Tanzania. Lorraine holds a Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Dar es Salaam and a post graduate diploma in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) from Lund University, Sweden focusing on adolescents’ risks, behaviors, and gender. Ms. Kiswaga is driven by her commitment to gender equality. One day she hopes to witness a completely liberated and equal society where everyone, regardless of their gender, has equal access to opportunities and resources.
