As a team of ICT and online business experts, we want to integrate local data with e-commerce web and mobile technologies to develop an e-commerce platform for local tourism products and services, so that local vendors can expand their revenue beyond local and physical purchases by accessing cross-border and international markets.
Develop and encourage linkages between young people and economic opportunities
Maasai Mart allows local vendors and tour companies to promote their products and services in an online market, thereby expanding opportunities for youths with a physical business setup and empowering youths who cannot afford a physical business setup. The platform will enable the following: creation of an online profile for local vendors and tour companies; online product orders; online service inquiry; online products and services catalogue; real-time alerts of offers and discounts; online sales; tracking of trends for products and services. By using Maasai Mart, local vendors can reach cross-border and international markets with their products and services, rather than being limited to local and physical purchases.
